TINA TALLEY
Chair
Tina M. Talley is a long time Romulus resident and a single mother to her only son, James A. Givens. Daughter of Rev Rita Talley, associate minister at First Baptist Church of Romulus and the late Deacon Eric Talley. Long term Romulus resident and the proud product of the Romulus Community Schools, (elementary – 12 grade). Some of Tina’s accomplishments include the following:
Received her Bachelor’s Degree from Davenport University and subsequently earned her Masters of Finance at Walsh College of Accountancy.
Extensive history and background in the banking industry with her banking career spanning approximately 18 years.
Various former roles within her church home, Triumph Church under the pastor ship of Solomon Kinloch Jr. Tina’s most significant impact was as the Former Department Head/Director of Evangelism and Outreach where the focus was the plight of the homeless, unemployed, helpless and disadvantaged
Current emphasis is investing in the City of Romulus the community where she grew up and resides. Tina's significant volunteer service within the community of Romulus led to her run for City Council in 2017 her first political campaign. She won a seat capturing the 2nd highest votes in the election earning her the title Chairperson Pro-Tem. Her other involvements include:
Secretary of the Romulus Christian Ministerial Alliance.
Founder/President of newly formed nonprofit, Unity Ambassadors Building Bridges (UABB), in the City of Romulus.
Former President of the Romulus Citizens Academy Alumni Association. .
Former Commissioner of the Romulus Police, Fire and Safety Commission.
Co-Organizer of the Romulus Annual Soul Food Dinner and Program.
Planning committee member of the annual Martin Luther King Celebration in the City of Romulus.
Member of the Emmaus Group in the City of Romulus.
Member of the Urban Alliance of MI since inception under the leadership of CEO Warren C. Evans.
Participation in various other committees in the City of Romulus.
Before anything else in her life, Tina is a Christian with tremendous love for Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her true purpose is being a devout Christian and doing what pleases the Lord.

DANIELLE FUNDERBURG

Danielle Funderburg is no stranger to the work and mission of UABB. She has supported her community in various ways through events and service that promote racial equity and unity amongst the residents, business owners and stakeholders upholding the tenets of UABB: A community that is educationally, emotionally, financially, physically, and spiritually healthy.
Danielle Funderburg served on Romulus’ Board of Education for 12 years and presently serves on the Wayne RESA Board of Education. She’s a freelance graphic designer by trade and a first generation graduate from Oakland University, (BA Communication). She understands the importance of developing present and future workforce talent and attaining Post-Secondary credentials and degrees. She devotes her time fostering programs that guide students along career pathways and the necessary academic preparations. She now works as the Program Coordinator at SEMCA (Southeast Michigan Community Alliance) for the SEMCA Young Professionals Program. Funderburg has volunteered in numerous capacities over the years, which include WCCAN (Wayne County College Access Network), Planning Committee Chair for Manufacturing Day-2018, RHS Band Boosters and formerly an executive member for the Wayne County Association of School Boards. She is currently— SEMCA Young Professionals Program Coordinator, (SYPP). Danielle is a Co-founder of Unity Ambassadors Building Bridges, Inc. (UABB), incorporated.
